Türkiye's construction output index declined 6% year on year in June 2026. The indicator measures changes in the physical volume of construction work and must not be confused with prices, sales or costs.
What the index measures
The index tracks the volume of building and civil-engineering work. It shows how much construction is being produced, not how much property is worth.
What a 6% decline may signal
Lower output can indicate a slower pace of work, fewer active projects or timing effects. It does not prove that every site slowed or supply will fall equally in every city.
Investor checklist
Verify permits, construction progress, financing, contractor history, delivery clauses and local demand. Use the national index as context, not as a substitute for project checks.
