Turkey’s insurance regulator SEDDK says the second phase of the e-Devlet ‘My Private Insurance’ project has been completed. The expanded view brings together adjuster reports linked to claim files, traffic-accident reports, fault ratios, detailed current and past policy information, and policy-renewal alerts. For international residents who already use e-Devlet, the practical gain is easier verification of records held under their identity number; the announcement does not replace an insurer’s claim-notification process or create access without an eligible e-Devlet account.
What the expanded screen is designed to show
SEDDK lists three groups of information: documents attached to claim files, details of policies across insurance branches, and renewal warnings. The claim area includes adjuster reports, accident records and assigned fault ratios. The official e-Devlet directory separately lists personal services for motor insurance, comprehensive vehicle insurance, health, life, personal accident, professional liability and Green Card policies, among others. What appears for one user depends on the records matched to that authenticated account.
Why claim documents matter
An accident report records the reported circumstances, an adjuster report documents the assessed damage, and the fault ratio records how responsibility was allocated. Viewing them together can help a policyholder compare the insurer’s decision with the underlying file before asking a question or lodging an objection. It does not by itself approve compensation, change the policy limit or cancel a deadline. Save the relevant documents and check the policy wording, notification date and insurer correspondence separately.
A useful check for foreign residents
A foreign resident with an active e-Devlet login can open the official Insurance Information and Monitoring Center directory and check whether the relevant personal service and policy record are available. Policies should be matched to the identity number used by the insurer. If a record is missing or incorrect, contact the insurer or the Insurance Information and Monitoring Center through official channels; do not send identity documents to an unofficial intermediary promising to ‘activate’ the screen.
What the service does not do
SEDDK’s announcement describes access to information and warnings. It should not be read as a universal online claim filing route, a guarantee that every old document has already been digitised, or proof that a disputed fault ratio is final. Claim notification, document submission, objection, arbitration and court deadlines remain separate procedures. Users should follow the applicable policy and official instructions for the specific dispute.
Five-minute practical checklist
Log in only through turkiye.gov.tr, open the official insurance-services directory, compare active policy dates and insured details, review any claim report and fault ratio, and note renewal dates. Download only what is necessary and store it securely. If the policyholder is a company, use the legal-entity services rather than a personal record. Screenshots are useful for reference, but a formal application may still require the original electronic document or a submission through the insurer’s own channel.
